Immigrant Accompaniment Training

<p>The First Church of Christ, Congregational and St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in East Haddam will host accompaniment training as part of the new Sanctuary's Accompaniment Program.</p> <p>Join us as we answer questions and dispel myths about immigration in the United States while also learning about accompaniment.&nbsp; Accompaniment ia a program that matches immigrants with volunteers who accompany them to hearings and periodic check-ins with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).&nbsp; Through the Accompaniment Program, you can stand in solidarity with our immigrant neighbors while ensuring their rights are upheld.</p> <p>This training will be held at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church at 31 main Street, east Haddam, CT and is <strong>FREE&nbsp;</strong>and open to the public.&nbsp; A good will offering to cover costs of training materials and marketing will be appreciated.</p> <p>Space is limited and people are asked to pre-register at</p> <p>http://tinyurl.com/accompainment&nbsp;</p> <p><a href="http://www.uact4justice.org/filephotos/1/Accompaniment-Training-Flyer-1.pdf" target="_blank">Click here to download our flyer</a></p>
